I would like to give a shout out of gratitude to all of the family, friends, community members, and teachers, who make this work possible every day.
First of all to my clients: for allowing me the sacred honor of holding space for their process and the profound privilege of witnessing their healing journeys.
To my two incredible children: who continually open my heart beyond what feels humanly possible, who inspire me daily to search deeper within myself, and who give me the motivation to want to share what I learn with the world.
To my mother and father, for giving me life, and for unconditionally supporting my dreams and endeavors, even when we don't agree.
To my handsome love: whose strength keeps me grounded and nourished, and who takes such beautiful photos.
To my mentors and teachers: Bernadette Torres, MaryLou Singleton, Dr. Tieraona LowDog, Don Cornwell, Kumu Karen Carroll, Karl Steyeart, Katey Inman, Banyan Gallagher, Amy Zampella, and so many more.
To my dearest of friends: for patiently listening to me process, over-analyze, obsess, etc as is the blessing of an overly sensitive soul...Camella, Becca, Racheal, Tina...thank you.
To the father of my children: for co-parenting with me and for sharing with me the two greatest gifts I have ever known.
And to my community, here in my home of Anchorage where I have spent most of my life, and in Albuquerque where I learned much of this work. It truly takes a village, a tightly woven tapestry, a wondrous web... to raise a family, to run a small business, to practice alternative medicine sustainably, and to thrive in this world. Tremendous gratitude to the magical, compassionate beings at Winterberry Charter School and the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics.
